Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used when you explore our hot tubs and Endless Pools ranges, download product information, use our shop or contact our Atherstone showroom. Read it alongside our privacy policy, which covers the personal information you provide to us.

What cookies do on this website

Cookies are small files saved by your browser. They can remember a shopping session or help measure how a website is used. Session cookies usually end when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them. Identifiers stored in cookies can be personal data, even when they do not contain your name.

Shop, account and website functions

Our website runs on WordPress and WooCommerce. When you use the basket, WooCommerce can set woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart to keep track of changes to your basket. These are session cookies. The wp_woocommerce_session_ cookie links your browser to its stored basket and normally lasts two days.

If you sign in, WordPress uses authentication cookies such as wordpress_logged_in_ to maintain your signed-in session. Security features can also use cookies to protect sign-in and distinguish legitimate requests. These features do not mean that every visitor receives every cookie.

Google Analytics and enquiry measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to ultimatehottubs.com and measure actions such as clicks on our telephone, email and WhatsApp links and interactions with enquiry forms. This helps us understand which product and support pages visitors find useful.

GA4 can use _ga and _ga_ cookies to distinguish browsers and maintain session information. Google’s default lifetime for these cookies is two years; actual expiry depends on settings and browser restrictions. These are measurement cookies, rather than cookies needed to display our product pages.

Google Ads and external services

Google Ads tags are also configured on this website. These can use advertising-related cookies, including _gcl_ cookies, to connect an advert interaction with a later website action and measure advertising performance. Which cookies are set depends on the interaction, Google settings and your browser. Google’s advertising cookie information explains the cookies associated with its advertising products and their lifetimes.

Trustpilot review widgets are also held behind the Advertising choice because they load an external service. Our website fonts are served locally.

Following a link to WhatsApp, Facebook or another external service takes you to that provider. Its own privacy and cookie information then applies. Cookies used by third-party services are separate from the details you choose to send directly to our showroom team.

Your choices

You can inspect the cookies stored for ultimatehottubs.com in your browser’s site settings, delete them, and block first-party or third-party cookies. Blocking shop or sign-in cookies may stop the basket or account features working. You can still contact us by telephone on 0121 767 9122 or email enquiries@ultimatehottubs.com.

Our consent panel lets you Accept all, Reject optional, or Choose cookies. Necessary cookies remain on for website and shop functions. Analytics and Advertising are optional and stay off until you allow them. You can allow either category separately, then select Save preferences.

Use the Cookie settings button shown on this website to change or withdraw your choices at any time. Withdrawing optional consent stops the corresponding tags and may reload the page to remove code that was already running. We also clear recognised first-party Google measurement cookies where possible. Cookies already stored by external providers may need to be removed through your browser or that provider.

Complianz stores necessary consent cookies, including cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing and cmplz_banner-status, to remember your choices for up to 180 days. Clearing these cookies or using a different browser may show the panel again. Browser cookie controls and Google’s own privacy controls provide additional options.
